Tex. Insurance Code § 5001.001: ADOPTION OF COMPACT; REPRESENTATIVE TO COMMISSION.

Pursuant to the terms and conditions of this chapter, the state joins with other states that have adopted the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact to establish and become a member of the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission. The commissioner is the state's representative to that commission.
