SUBCHAPTER D. GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS

A health maintenance organization may contract with an insurer or group hospital service corporation authorized to engage in business in this state to provide insurance, reinsurance, indemnification, or reimbursement against the cost of health care and medical care services provided by the health maintenance organization.
