SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

A local mutual aid association is subject only to this chapter and Chapters 887 and 888. Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, a local mutual aid association is exempt from all other insurance laws of this state, unless a local mutual aid association is expressly designated in the law.
