An alien insurance company, other than an alien life insurance company, accident insurance company, life and accident insurance company, health and accident insurance company, or life, health, and accident insurance company, shall maintain the deposit required by Section 982.108 for the period that the company has any outstanding liability arising from its insurance transactions in the United States. The deposit is for the exclusive benefit, security, and protection of the company's policyholders in the United States.
