  5. SUBCHAPTER B. INTERCOUNTY COOPERATION FOR JAIL FACILITIES

(a) The commissioners courts of two or more counties may contract with each other for the joint operation of a jail to serve the counties.

(b) The contract may provide for the construction or acquisition of a facility or for the use of an existing facility.
