- SUBCHAPTER C. ENFORCEMENT
A person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted or order or permit issued under this chapter is subject to a civil penalty of not more than $25,000 for each act of violation and for each day of violation. The total amount of penalties that may be assessed under this section for a related series of violations may not exceed $500,000.
