Tex. Occupations Code § 1302.303: MUNICIPAL AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION STANDARDS.

(a) A municipality may by ordinance adopt and enforce standards for air conditioning and refrigeration contractors that are consistent with the standards established under this chapter.

(b) The municipality shall report a violation of the ordinance to the executive director not later than the 10th day after the date the municipality acts to enforce the ordinance.
