Tex. Occupations Code § 160.051: DEFINITIONS.

Where this section sits in the code

In this subchapter:

(1) "Commissioner" means the commissioner of insurance.

(2) "Insurer" means an insurer or other entity that provides medical professional liability insurance covering a physician in this state.
