Tex. Occupations Code § 2153.161: EXPIRATION OF LICENSE OR REGISTRATION.

(a) A license issued under this chapter expires on the earlier of:

(1) December 31 of the year the license is issued; or

(2) the death or dissolution of the license holder.

(b) A registration certificate issued under this chapter expires on the first anniversary of the date of issuance.
