Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1015.051: BOARD ELECTION; TERM.

(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors elected from the district at large.

(b) Directors serve staggered four-year terms.

(c) An election shall be held on the uniform election day in May of each even-numbered year to elect the appropriate number of directors.
