Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1018.253: ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION BY COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR.

(a) This section applies unless the board elects to have taxes assessed and collected under Section 1018.254.

(b) The tax assessors-collectors of Dallam and Hartley Counties shall assess and collect taxes imposed by the district in their respective counties.
