Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1022.055: BOND.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) Each director shall execute a good and sufficient bond for $10,000 that is:

(1) payable to the district; and

(2) conditioned on the faithful performance of the director's duties.

(b) The district shall pay for the directors' bonds.
