- SUBCHAPTER B. DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION
(a) To be eligible to be a candidate for or to serve as a director, a person must be:
(1) a district resident; and
(2) a qualified voter.
(b) In addition to Subsection (a), a person who is elected from a single-member district or who is appointed to fill a vacancy for a single-member district must be a resident of that single-member district.
(c) A district employee may not serve as a director.
