Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1047.251: IMPOSITION OF AD VALOREM TAX.

(a) The district may impose a tax on all property in the district subject to district taxation.

(b) The tax may be used to:

(1) pay the principal of and interest on bonds authorized by Section 1047.201; and

(2) maintain and operate a hospital or hospital system.
