Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1070.157: EFFECT OF ANNEXATION.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) Territory annexed to the district is part of the district for all purposes.

(b) The annexation of territory to the district does not change the manner in which the board or district officers are selected.
