Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1071.054: QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) A person may not be elected or appointed as a director unless the person is:

(1) a district resident; and

(2) more than 21 years of age.

(b) An employee or medical staff member of the district may not serve as a director.
