Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1075.251: IMPOSITION OF AD VALOREM TAX.

(a) The board may impose a tax on all taxable property in the district subject to district taxation.

(b) The tax may be used to meet the requirements of district bonds and for the district's maintenance and operating expenses.
