Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1105.251: IMPOSITION OF AD VALOREM TAX.

(a) The district may impose a tax on all taxable property in the district subject to district taxation.

(b) The tax may be used to meet the requirements of:

(1) district bonds;

(2) indebtedness assumed by the district; and

(3) district maintenance and operating expenses.
