Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1112.054: QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.

Where this section sits in the code

A person must at the time of election or appointment as director:

(1) be a resident of the district;

(2) own land subject to taxation in the district; and

(3) be at least 18 years of age.
