Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1114.118: AUTHORITY TO SUE AND BE SUED.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) The district, through the board, may sue and be sued.

(b) The district is entitled to all causes of action and defenses to which similar authorities are entitled.
