Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 1120.053: QUALIFICATION FOR OFFICE.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) To be eligible to hold office on the board, a person must be:

(1) a resident of the district; and

(2) a qualified voter.

(b) An administrator or an employee of the district may not serve as a director.
