SUBCHAPTER E. FINANCIAL PROVISIONS

(a) If authorized at an election held in accordance with Section 3854.202, the district may impose an annual ad valorem tax on taxable property in the district for:

(1) the maintenance, operation, and upkeep of the district and the improvements constructed or acquired by the district; and

(2) the provision of services to industrial and commercial businesses and residents and property owners.

(b) The board shall determine the tax rate.
