SUBCHAPTER C. POWERS AND DUTIES

In addition to the authority to annex territory under Subchapter C, Chapter 375, Local Government Code, the district has the authority to annex territory located in a reinvestment zone created by the city under Chapter 311, Tax Code, if the city's governing body consents to the annexation.
