CHAPTER 5010. PORT OF BEAUMONT NAVIGATION DISTRICT OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS
SUBCHAPTER B. DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION

(a) A commissioner, officer, agent, or employee of the district may not be directly or indirectly interested in a contract for the purchase of any property or construction of any work by or for the district.

(b) A person who violates this section is subject to the penalties provided by law for state and county officers under similar circumstances.
