SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

(a) The Angleton Drainage District is a conservation and reclamation district re-created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, for the reclamation and drainage of the district's overflowed lands and other lands needing drainage.

(b) The district is a municipal corporation.
