Tex. Special District Local Laws Code § 8511.0508: AUDIT.

(a) In addition to including the information required by Subchapter G, Chapter 49, Water Code, the audit report prepared under that subchapter must state:

(1) the amount of money received by the authority under this chapter during the preceding fiscal year; and

(2) how, to whom, and for what purpose the money was spent.

(b) A copy of the audit report prepared under Subchapter G, Chapter 49, Water Code, shall be filed:

(1) as required by Section 49.194, Water Code;

(2) with the governor;

(3) with the lieutenant governor;

(4) with the speaker of the house of representatives; and

(5) with the comptroller.
