(a) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, Chapter 702 (S.B. 1358), Acts of the 68th Legislature, Regular Session, 1983 (Article 717r, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), applies to the district.
(b) Section 3, Chapter 702 (S.B. 1358), Acts of the 68th Legislature, Regular Session, 1983 (Article 717r, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), does not apply to the district.
