SUBCHAPTER B. CREATION OF DISTRICT

(a) As soon as practicable after the petition, preliminary plan, and each required approval statement is filed with the commission, the commission shall call and hold a hearing on the petition and preliminary plan.

(b) The hearing may be in Travis County or in a county in which all or part of the district is to be located.
