Tex. Transportation Code § 453.451: ELECTION TO DISSOLVE TRANSIT DEPARTMENT.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) A board may order an election on the question of dissolving the transit department.

(b) The board shall dissolve the transit department if the dissolution is approved by a majority of the votes cast.
