Utah Code § 53H-1-404: Oaths of office.

Notwithstanding Section 52-1-2, except as otherwise provided in this title, an individual whom one of the following appoints or employs is not required to take an official oath of office:

(1) the board;

(2) the commissioner;

(3) an institution;

(4) an institution board of trustees; or

(5) the president of an institution.
