Utah Code § 58-92-301: Licensure required -- License classifications.

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a license is required to engage in an act regulated under this chapter.

(2) The division shall issue to a person that qualifies under this chapter, a license in the following classifications:

(a) private investigator agent;

(b) private investigator registrant; or

(c) private investigator apprentice.
