Utah Code § 78A-5b-101: Definitions for chapter.

As used in this chapter:

(1) "Judicial Council" means the same as that term is defined in Section 78A-2-103.

(2)

(a) "State entity" means the state or any agency, department, board, or commission of the state.

(b) "State entity" includes the Legislature and any committee of the Legislature.

(3) "State official" means:

(a) a member of the Legislature;

(b) the governor;

(c) the lieutenant governor;

(d) a member of the governor's cabinet;

(e) the state auditor;

(f) the state treasurer; or

(g) the attorney general.
