Depth markers shall be plainly visible and maintained in accordance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (13VAC5-63). When depth markers are not prescribed by the Building Code in effect at the time of the pool's construction, steps shall be taken to ensure that the depth of all sections of the pool can be determined by swimmers.
