14VAC5-380-10: Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth rules, forms and procedural requirements that the Commission deems necessary for the approval and monitoring of pools created pursuant to Underground Storage Tank Owners and Operators Group Self-Insurance Pools, § 62.1-44.34:12 of the Code of Virginia. The pools are to assist owners and operators of underground storage tanks in establishing proof of financial responsibility in connection with the Virginia Petroleum Storage Tank Fund (§ 62.1-44.34:11 of the Code of Virginia).
