16VAC25-90-1910: Federal Identical General Industry Standards (29 CFR 1910)

The following General Industry Standards (29 CFR 1910.5 et seq.) are applicable in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The regulations which have been published in the Virginia Register of Regulations are shown with the corresponding VR numbers on the table below. The 29 CFR 1910 sections which appear on the table below without VR numbers were mass adopted by the Safety and Health Codes Board in 1977.

Since these regulations for General Industry are identical to the federal regulations and are available elsewhere, the Virginia Code Commission excluded the text of these regulations from the Virginia Administrative Code.

For a summary of the effect of amendments, the adoption of new regulations, the repeal of a regulation, or the stay of an effective date, and for a table of the VOSH terms equivalent to the federal terms for each regulation, see the Virginia Register volume and issue (VA.R.) following the effective date of the regulation.
