18VAC145-20-140: Reinstatement

A. If the renewal fee, late renewal fee, and documented proof of completion of continuing education (CE) are not received by the board within six months following the license expiration date, the license holder will be required to pay the fee for reinstatement. The fee for reinstatement includes the regular renewal fee plus the reinstatement fee.

B. If the reinstatement fee and documented proof of completion of CE are not received by the board within two years following the license expiration date, the individual will no longer be eligible for reinstatement. To become licensed again, the individual must apply as a new applicant and meet all current education, experience, and examination requirements as established in this chapter.
