The purpose of this regulation is to establish standards and specifications, as required by § 46.2-1026 of the Code of Virginia, for warning lights used in the escorting or towing of overdimensional materials, equipment, boats, or manufactured housing units by authority of a highway hauling permit issued pursuant to § 46.2-1139 of the Code of Virginia.
