Chapter 40. Rules and Regulations Governing the Prevention, Control and Eradication of Bovine Tuberculosis in Virginia

Official tuberculin tests may be applied by the intradermal (caudal fold), single cervical and comparative cervical methods. An official tuberculin test shall be applied by a veterinarian regularly employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia or federal government, a county or municipality, or an accredited veterinarian. The comparative cervical tests shall be performed only by an approved state or federal veterinarian.
