9VAC5-140-7220: CO2 Allowance Tracking System accounts

A. Consistent with 9VAC5-140-7230 A, the department or its agent will establish one compliance account for each CO2 budget source. Allocations of CO2 allowances pursuant to Article 5 (9VAC5-140-7190 et seq.) of this part and deductions or transfers of CO2 allowances pursuant to 9VAC5-140-7180, 9VAC5-140-7260, 9VAC5-140-7280, or Article 7 (9VAC5-140-7300 et seq.) of this part will be recorded in the compliance accounts in accordance with this section.

B. Consistent with 9VAC5-140-7230 B, the department or its agent will establish, upon request, a general account for any person. Transfers of CO2 allowances pursuant to Article 7 (9VAC5-140-7300 et seq.) of this part will be recorded in the general account in accordance with this article.
