Article 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES

Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, general or special, the governing body of any locality may provide for payment of monetary bonuses to its officers and employees. The payment of a bonus shall be authorized by ordinance.1985, c. 142, § 15.1-7.4; 1997, c. 587; 2003, c. 204.
