Article 1. FRANCHISES; SALE AND LEASE OF CERTAIN PUBLIC PROPERTY

The authority granted by this article for the granting of franchises by localities shall include the authority to grant an exclusive franchise for the operation of a vehicular ferry transportation system in Northumberland County. The county may regulate such system, including the establishment of fees and rates.2002, c. 154.
