Va. Code § 15.2-5812: Additional duties

In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere in this chapter, the Authority shall:1. Keep records as are consistent with sound business practices and accounting records using generally accepted accounting practices;2. Cause an audit by an independent certified public accountant to be made of accounts and transactions at the conclusion of each fiscal year;3. Be subject to audit and examination at any reasonable time of its accounts and transactions by the Auditor of Public Accounts; and4. Submit a detailed annual report of its activities and financial standing to the Governor and to the General Assembly.1992, c. 823, § 15.1-227.82; 1997, c. 587.
