Va. Code § 16.1-309.8: Costs of maintenance of juveniles in Community Crime Control Act programs

Any county, city or combination thereof operating a Juvenile Community Crime Control Act program may collect from any locality of this Commonwealth from which a juvenile is placed in its program a daily rate calculated to allow the operating locality or localities to meet but not exceed the costs of providing services. Additionally, this rate may not be higher than the rate charged other counties, cities or combinations thereof using the same program.1995, cc. 698, 840; 1996, cc. 671, 682; 1998, c. 538.
