Va. Code § 16.1-69.22: Removal of judges and substitute judges

Any judge or substitute judge of a district court may be removed from office in the manner and for any of the causes prescribed in Chapter 9 (§ 17.1-900 et seq.) of Title 17.1; provided, that substitute judges may be removed from office under the provisions of §§ 24.2-230 through 24.2-238.1972, c. 708; 1973, c. 546.
