Every person who serves upon a grand jury, regular or special, shall receive the same compensation and mileage allowed jurors in civil cases by § 17.1-618 and the same shall be paid out of the county or corporation levy.Code 1950, § 19.1-160; 1960, c. 366; 1974, c. 207; 1975, c. 495.
