Va. Code § 22.1-99: Approval and certification of apportionment of school funds

Subject to approval or amendment by the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall apportion the state funds appropriated for public school purposes among the several school divisions and, when approved, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall certify to the Comptroller such apportionment for the payment of the same.Code 1950, § 22-140; 1972, c. 663; 1980, c. 559.
