Chapter 23. VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY

A. The board shall consist of 16 members appointed by the Governor.B. Notwithstanding § 23.1-1300, members are eligible to serve for a total of two four-year terms which may be served consecutively; however, a member appointed by the Governor to serve an unexpired term is eligible to serve two additional four-year terms.1968, c. 93, § 23-50.6; 1972, c. 51; 1981, c. 225; 2016, c. 588.
