Va. Code § 25.1-216: Amendments to pleadings

A. No amendments shall be made to the petition or other pleading after it is filed, except by leave of court.B. Leave to amend for the addition of new parties and for other purposes shall be liberally granted in furtherance of the ends of justice.C.
