Va. Code § 36-11.1:1: Compensation of commissioners generally

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any redevelopment and housing authority may, from funds of the redevelopment and housing authority and with the approval of the governing body, pay each commissioner a stipend not to exceed $500 per month for services as a commissioner, in addition to such expenses as are allowed by law.1970, c. 628; 1988, c. 367; 2020, c. 516.
