Va. Code § 36-133: Director to supervise Department

The Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development shall, under the direction and control of the Governor be responsible for the supervision of the Department and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be required of him by the Governor.1977, c. 613; 1984, c. 720.
